Student Jetpacks
Weekend meal bags for students in local schools
Our Jetpack Program
provides nutritious, non-perishable food to hungry children of food-deficient households for the weekend during the school year.
More than 1400 students from over thirty local schools receive these backpacks every Friday.
The Well Outreach is so grateful to the local churches and businesses that sponsor our Jetpack program and provide volunteers each week to help pack them.
Packing Jetpacks is open to the community on an “as needed” basis. If you would like to sign your group up to pack Jetpacks, please reach out to Jetpack Program Director at Betsy@thewelloutreach.org
Jetpack Family Partnership
The Jetpack Family Partnership program gives families the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of local students who face food insecurity. Through this partnership, families can:
- Sponsor one or more students at their child’s school for an entire year
- Serve together as a family by packing Jetpacks
- Experience hands-on opportunities to support local children in need
Families of all sizes and children of all ages are welcome! As a Jetpack Family Partner, your family will have monthly opportunities to serve together and experience the joy of making a lasting impact in our community.

- Animal Crackers
- Fruit & Grain Bars
During the summer months, items contributed towards the Snack Stash programs may be utilized for the Well’s homeschool/summer kid’s shelf.
