Hope for the Hungry - Middle Tennessee Expansion

Over the next two years, we need your help! To feed over 20,000 people and run a second food pantry the Well Outreach is raising 2.7 million dollars. So far generous supporters have given 1 million! That’s only 1.7 million to go! You can join the capital campaign today!

Down the street, across town, in the heart of our community, a crisis is unfolding. One in seven students in Spring Hill and neighboring communities faces the stark reality of hunger every weekend. Maury County, our home, is not immune, with 60% of its students living below the poverty line and more than 10% of families struggling with food insecurity.

As the need continues to grow month by month, year by year, we recognize that growth is not just an option; it is a necessity. Our central location serves Williamson and Maury counties, but we operate without geographical boundaries, ensuring that anyone who comes to us hungry is met with dignity.

Mt. Pleasant facility launch support team. Join us in this exciting endeavor to help set up and launch our new location, and seize the opportunity to tour the facility, gaining insights into the volunteering opportunities that await you.

The Plan for Expansion

The escalating need for our services is undeniable. Over the past five years, our food pantry servings have soared by 800%, and the demand for our JetPack program has increased by over 400%. The reasons are clear – financial hardships, rising rents, increased grocery prices, and families living paycheck to paycheck.

In response to this urgent need, The Well Outreach has a growth plan. We envision establishing a strong presence in southern Maury County through the following initiatives:

Open Food Pantry

Open a Food Pantry: A client-choice model with no geographic boundaries, offering dignity, hope, and food to guests.

Welcome Room

Create a “Welcome Room” Experience: Where guests feel known, seen, and loved, connecting them to resources and offering prayer.

JetPack Program

Expand the JetPack Program: Feeding more students in need by reaching additional local schools.

Community Engagement

Community Engagement: Bringing The Well to the community and the community to The Well through a larger facility with group serving opportunities and meeting spaces.
