Get yourself moving and making a difference this 4th of July at our annual fundraiser that provides fun and fitness for the whole family. This is the city of Spring Hill’s largest 4th of July event and it is three events in one:
- Timed 5K Race with age group winners
- Color Foam Run
- Bicycle and Stroller Parade

- $45 for adults
- $25 for children ages 5-12

- For children 10 and under, accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Sleep In – stay peacefully in dreamland that morning!

Fundraising and Food Donations
This year, we have two ways that participants can make a contribution to the mission of The Well Outreach:
- We will have food donation boxes at the event to help collect our most needed non-perishable food items.
- You will be provided a personal fundraising page when you register for the event, making it easy for you to set a fundraising goal and reach out to friends and family.
When you register…
The Well Outreach is using the It’s Your Race platform for participant registration. Here are some important notes to help you register:
- You will have the option to register individually or as part of a team.
- Payment is safe and secure by credit card, and you can include an additional donation to The Well Outreach if you wish.
- No matter what portion of the event you register for, you will be provided your own personal fundraising page. This is how you can help The Well Outreach generate even more proceeds from this event!
- If you register before June 1 and enter promo code EARLYBIRD25 you will receive a 10% discount on your registration fee!
Help us put the Fun in Fundraising…
For the 2025 Run For Hunger, The Well Outreach is expanding the scope of the event to include participant fundraising. We want your help connecting others to the event and the mission that it serves. Here are important pieces of information to help you help us:
Your Personal Fundraising Page
Every participant, upon registering, will be provided with their own personal fundraising page within the It’s Your Race platform. To access your page:
- Login to It’s Your Race and go to My Account then My Profile.
- Click on your fundraising page username and you’ll be able to edit your page there. You can set your goal and add content to your page as you like.
- You can then share the link to your page with prospective donors, who can quickly and securely contribute there.
To help you with language, images and links, we have put together a Fundraising Toolkit with content you can use on your fundraising page, donor emails and social media posts.
This year, we will offer prizes to the top three individual fundraisers as well as the highest fundraising team.

The annual Run For Hunger brings hundreds of people together on the 4th of July and provides an excellent opportunity for businesses and organizations to be visible. Timeline
Here is the full sequence of events for the morning of the event:
6:00AM – Event opens | Walk-up registration | Packet pickup
7:00AM – Timed 5K race starts for all ages
8:00AM – Untimed Color Foam Run starts | Award presentation for age range winners of race
9:00AM – Bicycle and Stroller Parade starts

Parking
Because of the course route, precautions have been put in place for parking. Please follow signage as your arrive on campus. If you arrive after the start of the 5K race, you may need to wait until traffic patrol allows for the resumption of traffic flow. [Parking Map]

We have put together an interactive map of the course for all three events. It starts in front of Summit High School and winds south before looping back to the starting line.
